Derek Ramsay has finally confirmed that he and Andrea Torres have called it quits following breakup speculations.
It was on November 16 when netizens had taken notice of Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres’ photos together deleted on their respective accounts on Instagram.
To further bolster talks about their breakup, Andrea had unfollowed the 43-year-old Fil-Brit actor.
As recently as September 2020, the former couple appeared to be on good terms
And in fact, agreed in an interview that they were “ready” to get married.
They also have a shared YouTube channel, dubbed “Andrek,” whose most recent episode was released in October.
Now, from the update of Cristy Fermin, the thoughts of netizens of the main reason for Derek-Andrea’s break up.
Based on the source of Cristy Fermin, it has always been the issue that marriage was the real reason why Derek and Andrea separated.
According to Fermin, when Andrea allegedly asks Derek to marry her the latter refused.
Derek said that he still has a lot of commitment until the year 2022.
And because of these commitments, Andrea has to wait two more years before they get married.
It is said that because of this, Andrea refused, even reaching the point of parting their ways.
Andrea’s family allegedly did not want a live-in set-up because they were conservative.
In a statement, Cristy Fermin said that because of the marriage issue, their relationship ended.
“Though may anggulo ring mama’s boy kasi talaga si Derek kaya wala naman talaga sa vocabulary nito ang kasal,” Cristy quipped.
