(SPOT.ph) Baguio is also known as "The City of Pines" for an obvious reason: rows of towering pine trees line its roads and open spaces. Tudor in the Pines, a complex of seven unusual accommodation options in Barangay Sto. Tomas, features a glass treehouse where you can wake up amid pine trees just outside your door. Pine Cone Treehouse can accommodate up to two people for P3,800.

The room rests on a timber deck that's 30 feet above the ground and across a hanging bridge. This gives you a cool view of a small waterfall beside the glasshouse and a breathtaking skyview unobstructed by trees or posts. Guests have access to the rest of the place, including a private garden, a picnic area with a fire pit, and the Glasshouse Lounge.

Right across the Pine Cone Treehouse is another cool accommodation with floor-to-ceiling glass walls called Pine Needle Treehouse with the same rates. But you can book the two (Twin Glass Treehouse) at the same time to accommodate a group of four for P7,800 a night. There's a minimum reservation of three days and two nights.

Pine Cone Treehouse is at Tudor in the Pines, 17 Lower Balacbac Road, Sto. Tomas, Baguio City, Benguet. Rates start at P3,800 per night. For more information, follow Tudor in the Pines on Facebook or book through Airbnb.
