This Is the Ice Cream For Serious Coffee Lovers

(SPOT.ph) Beyond chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry, coffee ranks pretty high on the list of ice-cream flavors that never fail—after all, coffee goes beautifully with dairy, most especially when it's scoopable and creamy. We've got good news for you coffeeheads: local brand Kurimu has partnered with specialty coffee shop Yardstick Coffee to bring us their take on coffee ice cream, dubbed the Kohi Cream, and it'll be available starting today, November 27!

Kurimu has teamed up with Yardstick to create this special ice cream.

Don't be fooled by its plain appearance; this isn't your ordinary coffee ice cream.

The Kohi Cream ice cream isn't just any coffee ice cream: it's made with Yardstick's famous Golden Ticket Blend coffee, which lends it a distinct depth and robustness and notes of milk chocolate, almonds, and caramel. This is a true coffee lover's ice cream—not in the sense that it's overpoweringly bitter, but in that it delivers a truly complex coffee flavor that you'll want to savor slowly and mindfully. It's also less sweet than many other coffee ice creams, which really allows the coffee to shine; and as with everything else Kurimu makes, it's got the perfect silky-smooth consistency that melts in the mouth like a dream.

Mouth watering yet? Try this special ice cream for yourself by placing an order through Kurimu's website, and then paying through bank transfer. Pro tip: one pint is not enough! Be sure to stick your ice cream pints in the freezer as soon as you get them.

Kurimu is a homegrown brand of premium ice cream that churns up limited pints daily. Don't miss Kurimu's other ice cream flavors, which include the basic-but-well-executed Matcha (P420) made with premium-grade Uji matcha, and Black Sesame (P420) that's truly deep and nutty in flavor. For the more adventurous, they've also got the less-conventional but totally delicious Shoyu Caramel (P420) a.k.a. soy-sauce caramel (trust us, it works!), as well as the Kinako Vanilla (P420) and Kinako Chocolate (P420)—both of which highlight nutty roasted soybean flour.

Don't miss Kurimu's other ice cream flavors, many of which are inspired by the Land of the Rising Sun.

We're especially huge fans of the unconventional but ingenious Shoyu Caramel variant.

And if you're looking for a savory treat to pair with these frozen desserts, may we suggest a hot and crisp plate of French fries? Some of our favorites in Manila are the versions by Nathan's Famous and Jollibee!

As far as fast-food fries go, Jollibee's ranks pretty high up!
