(SPOT.ph) Worried that the Friends reunion we've all been waiting for since the series ended in 2004 won't be happening anymore? Well, don't be; Matthew Perry just updated fans on the special reunion! Filming has been rescheduled to March 2021, the actor tweeted on Friday morning, November 13, Philippine time.

"Looks like we have a busy year coming up. And that's the way I like it!" wrote Perry. (Anyone else read that last bit in Chandler Bing's voice?) The Friends reunion special was supposed to have come out in May 2020, but the rescheduling comes after COVID-19 restrictions.
News about the planned reunion broke in November 2019. Jennifer Aniston, a.k.a. Rachel, first broke the internet with an epic reunion photo on Instagram in October, leading everyone into a frenzy of rumors—which were thankfully confirmed.
So far, no official title has come out yet. What we do know is that the entire gang is set to come back to play their characters: Aniston as Rachel Green, Courteney Cox as Monica Geller, Lisa Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay, Matt LeBlanc as Joey Tribbiani, Perry as Chandler Bing, and David Schwimmer as Ross Geller. Best part? The reunion is set to be unscripted. There's no telling exactly what unscripted means but fingers crossed this means the special will let the cast's natural chemistry come to the forefront! It will be available on streaming platform HBO Max.
While we wait for the six friends to get back together, Aniston, Cox, and Kudrow blessed fans with a mini-reunion during the 2020 Emmys in September. The three joked around with host Jimmy Kimmel in a fun little skit where they pretended they were roommates.
