Sizzling Crispy Sinigang Exists and Here's Where to Try It

(SPOT.ph) With its telltale sourness and hearty mix of meat and veggies, sinigang is always a treat. We'll always have a soft spot for its classic hot-soup iteration, but it's worth exploring the other ways you can have the dish, too. How does a sizzling, crispy dish with the signature elements of sinigang sound? Here's where you can get it: for a limited time, Manam is offering the Sizzling Crispy Sinigang (P300/small, P550/medium, P905/large)—chunks of crispy pork kawali in a slightly-sour sinigang gravy and garnished with cherry tomatoes, radishes, sitaw, and kangkong.

The Sizzling Crispy Sinigang reimagines the classic Filipino soup as an indulgent, sizzling dish that'll have you ordering extra rice. (Lots of it.)

Along with the Sizzling Crispy Sinigang are other new offerings available for a limited time. If it's seafood that makes your heart beat, be sure to try the House Squid Sisig (P190/small, P280/medium, P415/large), which has crispy-chewy bits of squid in a tangy, creamy sauce, sprinkled with fresh green chili and kamias. And if you're not one for meat, go for the House Tofu Sisig (P160/small, P280/medium, P415/large), which has fried tofu cubes doused in a meatless version of Manam’s secret sisig sauce, plus fried okra, scallions, and fresh green chillies.

The House Squid Sisig will take care of those seafood hankerings.

Manam's House Crispy Sisig also happens to be our favorite sisig in Manila.
