Do you know that our newly crowned Miss Universe Philippines Rabiya Mateo is in a long time relationship until now?
This lucky guy is none other than Neil Salvacion, a registered nurse.
In an interview of Rabiya with Diane Castillejo after few days she was crowned, she mentioned that Neil is her first boyfriend.
“We’ve been dating for six years. He’s my first boyfriend… We’ve been together since college.”
Luckily, Rabiya shared that her boyfriend is very supportive of her dream to become a Miss Universe Philippines.
Before she joined the national pageant, they made a promise that Rabiya will not leave Neil even if she will won the crown.
Rabiya happily shared,
“He made me promise not to leave him even if I win the Miss Universe Philippines crown.
“I have a video stating that! He made me do that.”
Moreover, in a separate interview of her in Bombo Radyo Iloilo, the 24-year-old beauty queen mentioned that Neil is from Sta. Barabara, Iloilo.
Rabiya has a huge reason to be thankful for her boyfriend. As Neil is very supportive on her and he understands how busy she gets now that she is the Miss Universe Philippines.
As a matter of fact, Rabiya considers Neil a one of her lucky charm.
“May ara na ko migo. hahaha. 6 years na po.
“Buenas man ako sa iya. Actually proud gid siya ya noh.
“Pero gina-intindi ya gid ko subong. Like the busy schedule.
“Gina-intindi ya nga wala na ko masyado time para sa iya.
“Ang kailangan lang gid namon ni-remind nga even before the fame, I had him already.”
Rabiya then promised that she will not leave Neil no matter what unlike others who broke up with their boyfriends after winning the crown.
