The whole showbiz industry is currently mourning yet another loss after the very famous 90s personality after he bid his final good bye yesterday, November 29.
April Boy Regino finally succumbed to his serious condition at still a relatively young age of 59 years old.
His younger brother, Vingo Regino broke out the saddening news in a Facebook post Sunday morning.
Vingo sadly wrote on his Facebook account,
“Nakakalungkot naman ang araw na ito… wala na ang kuya april boy ko…”
Although April Boy had been vocal about his bout with his ongoing health condition, his sudden p@ssing actually came as a surprise to many.
Vingo initially didn’t gave enough details about the sudden demise of his brother.
The fans of April Boy were initially clueless about what happened to the iconic singer.
But April Boy’s wife, Madel Regino, later provided some information about his p@ssing.
According to her April Boy had been suffering with a chronic condition involving his kidneys. She added that Regino was supposed to have a dialysis on that fateful day.
But for some reason, the procedure did went out in a timely manner as they planned.
This caused his creatinine levels to build up on his system.
The end result made him experience breathing difficulty that ultimately cost his life.
According to some sources, the medical staff tried to revive him around 13 times.
April Boy was billed as the “Jukebox King” because of his hit Songs Paano And Puso Ko and Hindi Ko Kayang Tanggapin.
This singer also had his trademark with having a long hair and always wearing a cap.
As of the moment, his wake is currently open for his fans at a restaurant bar his family owns at Marikina City
