The whole showbiz industry is currently mourning yet another loss after the very famous 90s personality has bid his final good bye yesterday, November 29.
April Boy Regino finally succumbed to his serious condition at still a relatively young age of 59 years old.
His younger brother, Vingo Regino broke out the saddening news in a Facebook post Sunday morning.
Vingo sadly wrote on his Facebook account, “Nakakalungkot naman ang araw na ito… wala na ang kuya april boy ko…”
Although April Boy had been vocal about his bout with his ongoing health condition, the news came as a surprise to many.
It’s been only three days since another famous singer, Jamir Garcia, one of their lead vocalist of the band Slapshock also p@ss3d away.
Vingo initially didn’t gave enough details about the sudden passing of his brother. The fans of April Boy were initially clueless about what happened to the iconic singer.
April Boy’s wife, Madel Regino, later provided some information about his passing.
According to her April had been suffering with a chronic illness involving his kidneys. She added that Regino was supposed to have a dialysis for his ongoing condition.
However, the creatinine build up on his system eventually caused him breathing difficulty that ultimately cost his life.
April Boy was billed as the “Jukebox King” because of his hit Songs Paano And Puso Ko and Hindi Ko Kayang Tanggapin.
This singer also had his trademark with having a long hair and always wearing a cap.
Meanwhile, his younger brother Vingo made a short video message for April Boy. The lost can be seen to Vingo’s eyes as he tries to hold himself from crying.
