(SPOT.ph) Living in the congested Metro can be very stressful, not to mention all the kinds of pollution you have to deal with on a daily basis. The answer? Take a break from your hectic work schedule and escape to the idyllic countryside: maybe at the 4.5-hectare Evo Nature Camp in Balamban, Cebu.

This recreational facility, which opened its doors on January 11, features trekking and rapelling trails, camping spots, a fun-filled obstacle course, and an outdoor restaurant with a view of the surrounding hills. The glamping site, which was launched in September, features air-conditioned bell tents on elevated platforms. Each tent comes with plush bedding, hotel slippers, a full-length mirror, and sofas. Rates are at P4,000 per night on weekdays, which is good for four people with breakfast; and P5,000 per night on weekends.

If you wish to stay just for a day and enjoy the view, you only need to pay the entrance fee of P75. Use of board games at the outdoor restaurant is free. There are also regular camp sites if you want to pitch your own tent at P300 per head.
