(SPOT.ph) Malapascua Island in Cebu is known for its white-sand beach, beautiful coral gardens and coral walls, and underwater world where you can spot thresher sharks and manta rays. It's a beach lover's haven, especially if you choose to stay in a laid-back resort where you can just hang out with fellow divers and beach bums. And Neverland Malapascua is one such place. Like Peter Pan's Neverland, you might never want to leave.
Neverland Malapascua has 10 huts, which can accommodate two people each. It comes with a double-sized mattress on a bamboo bed frame, electric fan, mosquito net, and a small table. Guests have access to the shared toilet and bath and common area where they serve vegan breakfast and dinner.
Aside from daily yoga in the morning, they also offer volunteer programs like art sessions and beach clean-ups where guests can do something for the local community.
Neverland Malapascua is in Logon, Daanbantayan, Cebu. Rates start at P1,500. For more information, visit Neverland Malapascua's website.
