Chocolate Maja Blanca Exists and Here's Where to Get It

(SPOT.ph) No Filipino celebration is complete without a bilao or two of the pudding-like kakanin known as maja or maja blanca. Though it most commonly highlights the pure and creamy taste of coconut milk, we recently spotted a version that takes the dessert to indulgent new heights. Meet Cebu-based purveyor MajaLikha's Maja Choco Supremo—their take on classic maja that's flavored with chocolate!

Aside from the chocolate variant, MajaLikha also offers other flavors of maja. There's the corn-studded Creamy Maja Mais that's a definite crowdpleaser, as well as the Maja Buko Pandan that's flavored with the so-called "Asian vanilla" and has real buko bits in the mix. You can get a box of a dozen pieces of these treats for P60 for a single flavor, or P70 for two or more flavors.

You can also go for the more classic-leaning Creamy Maja Mais...

For orders, you can message them on Instagram or send a text message to 0939-603-6307.  Delivery fee will be based on Lalamove's rate from Ayala Center Cebu.

Looking to get a savory bite before digging into these desserts? You can't go wrong with pork barbecue, and some of our favorites in Manila are those by Buddy's Pancit Lucban and Amber.
