Scripted by Straiton with Ron Bonk and Mean Gene, Night of Something Strange has the following synopsis: Five teenage friends set out for the beach on their Spring Break vacation. Good times are cut short when one of the group, Carrie, contracts a deadly sexual transmitted disease during a bathroom stop. When they stop for the night at an isolated motel, the real terror begins when the STD virus starts running rampant, turning those infected into the living dead. However, there’s more going on at the motel than meets the eye.
The film stars Trey Harrison, Rebecca C. Kasek, Wayne W. Johnson, Michael Merchant, Toni Ann Gambale, Nicola Fiore, John Walsh, Janet Mayson, Tarrence Taylor, Kera O’Bryon, Wes Reid, Billy Garberina, Al Lawler, Kirk LaSalle, David B. Meadows, Brinke Stevens, Alexis Katherine, Brett Janeski, Nathan Bonk, Ron Bonk, Eric Cain, Colby Flinchum, Nicholas Hadlow, Mackenzie Hadlow Hil, Jody Pucello, Jennie Russo, Wyatt Smith, Brooklynn T. Straiton, Fredro Williams, and Barrett Worley.
Straiton previously directed the comedy Big Fish in Middlesex and the crime drama The Two Plates. Over the years, he has also served as a producer on projects like Lights Camera Dead, Ms. Cannibal Holocaust, Hi-8, Empire State of the Dead, She Kills, and House Shark.
