Directed by Manuel H. Da Silva from a screenplay by Ken Cardwell and Jeff Carr, Covenant has the following synopsis:
After receiving word of his estranged mother’s untimely passing, a reluctant former army lieutenant must travel to a secluded town in the Pacific Northwest to unlock the mystery surrounding her suspicious death.
The film stars Nick Smyth, Peter Valdron, Margaryta Soldatova, Dylan Lloyd, Paige Falardeau, Anna Carr, Kameryn Carr, Thia Sterling, Scott Milton, James Weicht, Simon De Cicco, Steve Kasan, Jessica Chin King, Yosuke Kumai, Vikki Lenola, David Lucchese, Kelly McDowell, Valentina Mendoza Guzman, Mike Milton, and Xenia Mustapic.
Covenant was the third feature for Manuel H. Da Silva, who also works as an editor, second unit director, first assistant director, and visual effects artist. He made his feature directorial debut with the 2008 horror film Cycle of Fear: There Is No End (in which he appeared as the character Deputy Matt) and followed that up with the 2011 horror film The Unleashed. He’s currently in post-production on the thriller Autonetic and in pre-production on the sci-fi thriller Human Nature.
