Zendaya's MJ has been a supportive presence in Peter Parker/Spider-Man's life in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but she has yet to join him in battle. This shouldn't come as a surprise, as she doesn't have any magical powers, high-tech weaponry or combat training. However, she could become a superhero and join Peter on the battlefield using one of his greatest tools: the Iron Spider suit.
Throughout his run in the MCU, Peter has used the Iron Spider suit Tony Stark gave him to take on strong villains like Doc Ock and Thanos, making it a reliable piece of technology. While part of this suit was left behind in Happy Hogan's apartment after Peter's first battle with the Green Goblin, a fragment of it that restrained Doc Ock bonded with his red and black suit to create a new version of it, which is now technically called the "Integrated Suit."
At the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home, though his Iron Spider suit was still intact after the final battle, Peter made a new Spider-Man suit resembling the ones worn by his two variants. His decision to don this homemade costume represents the next chapter in his life as a crimefighter, in which he no longer relies on Stark technology. But what happened to the red-and-gold suit?
It's unlikely that Peter would just throw a million-dollar piece of weaponry in the trash. Unless there is a deleted scene of him discarding the suit that audiences have yet to see, it could be lying around somewhere in his new apartment, waiting for him to use in case of an emergency. Perhaps in a future film, MJ could reunite with Peter and help him battle his next great enemy using this advanced Spider armor. Given that his next foe could be Venom, such a powerful villain may force Peter to team up with some other heroes to take him down, and MJ could be an excellent partner.
In the comics, MJ wore the Iron Spider suit to help Peter and Iron Man fight the supervillain Regent, and she managed to hold her own against this fearsome foe. Though the red-and-gold armor Peter has in the MCU may not have all the capabilities of the original Iron Spider, such as its four mechanical "pincers," it would still be an effective tool against any adversary.
With this armored suit, her own web-shooters and possibly two pairs of robot spider legs, MJ could be the perfect partner for Peter as he fights his next batch of villains. It would be a shame to see such a powerful suit go to waste, and to have MJ wear it in battle would give her the spotlight that she very much deserves.
