(SPOT.ph) Granted, it's only Monday, but what better way to combat the Monday blues than by mapping out where to go this weekend? We don't know about you, but there's nothing like spending a chill Saturday shopping or eating away at a good ol' farmers' market—like Makati's famous Salcedo Market! They're known for their selection of all kinds of great eats and drinks—and it sure doesn't hurt that they're stationed at a breezy, open-air setting. Here's a PSA you should take note of for your next visit: They've temporarily moved locations to the parking lot of Paseo Center in Makati City.
Check out the new location of the Salcedo Market:
Open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday until December 18, the Salcedo Market is home to a variety of eats from over 120 partner concessionaires. From fresh produce, seafood, and meats, to ready-to-eat meals and drinks, to pantry items, to organic items, they've got you covered! There are also flowers, artisanal crafts, and other home essentials so you can spruce up your space or stock up for holiday gifts. Of course, they've got safety protocols in place—you'll have to wear a face mask or shield, and they'll take your temperature and have you answer a health declaration pass prior to entering.
Can't head out? Then note that you can also order for pickup from selected merchants via Pickaroo. If it's your first time to order, then here's a pro-tip: use the code PICKSALCEDO upon checkout for 20% off on orders P600 and up.
Popular weekend pop-up Salcedo Market has been a Makati City staple since 2004.
The Salcedo Market is at Paseo Center, Valero corner Sedeño Street, Paseo De Roxas, Makati City. For more information, check out Salcedo Market's Facebook page.
