The Philippines is prohibiting the entry of travelers from two areas from November 16 to 30 as the government updated its COVID-19 travel list classifications.
Faroe Islands and The Netherlands have been placed on the Red List, which means that individuals from the said areas cannot enter the Philippines.
Travelers coming from areas classified on the Yellow and Green Lists, however, are allowed entry as these are categorized as moderate risk and low risk for COVID-19, respectively.
As of October 14, fully vaccinated foreigners from countries in the Green List don't need to go on a facility-based quarantine. They're still required to present a negative RT-PCR test result taken within 72 hours prior to departure from country of origin, but they can just self-monitor for any symptoms for 14 days.
Returning Filipinos who are fully vaccinated can choose facility-based quarantine until the release of a negative RT-PCR test taken in the quarantine facility upon arrival, or they can choose to forego the facility-based quarantine but they should have a negative RT-PCR test within 72 hours prior to departure from the country of origin.
