(SPOT.ph) It's been a couple of months since lechon baka exploded in popularity on social media, but we say its juicy, flavorful character makes it the kind of meat dish that's well beyond being just a trend! You can now get the dish from a couple of shops and sellers around the Metro, one of our favorites being Rico's Lechon—their version's got a subtly smoky aroma and natural-tasting profile that really highlights the taste of good beef. You can order it for delivery from their shops, but wouldn't it be even better if you could easily get your fix just about anytime—even when your inner carnivore strikes at, say, 12 a.m.? You're in for a treat, Spotters, as the lechon shop now sells Frozen Lechon Baka!

The famous lechon baka by Rico's Lechon is now available frozen and ready to heat:

As the name implies, the Frozen Lechon Baka can be stored your freezer, making it uber-convenient to sate that craving for Filipino-style roast beef anytime! It's ready (and easy!) to heat, no shef skills required: Simply defrost the pack until soft and loosened, then reheat the beef either via the microwave (at medium-high power level for a minute or less), oven (at 160°C for four to five minutes), or air fryer (at 190°C for 10 to 15 minutes).

Purists can go for the Original (P350/250 grams, P810/600 grams), which is all about the beef's natural meaty taste; but if you're up for a zingy bite, you'll want to try the Spicy version (P380/250 grams, P870/600 grams) for a good dose of heat! And though you can just serve it plain or with rice, you're also more than welcome to try it in sandwiches, stir-fries, and more. Get your fix of the Frozen Lechon Baka at leading supermarkets, or for pickup or delivery by giving their Lechon Fulfillment Center a ring.
