Biking is one of the more popular activities people have taken on during the pandemic, and it's probably why you've been seeing tons of al-fresco cafés mushrooming in the neighboring areas outside Metro Manila. Cafés in Pampanga, Rizal, and Tagaytay serve as a pit stop for cyclists or people who simply just want a break from the quarantine life in Metro Manila. Another aesthetic café you can add to the list is Pugpog Biker's Highlands in Bulacan.
Check out Pugpog Biker's Highlands, a scenic Café in Bulacan:
Pugpog Biker's Highlands is a new al-fresco coffee shop in Bulacan that overlooks the Angat River and the Sierra Madre mountain range. If you really want the best view, you can grab a table at the café's viewing deck or go play on the swings!
Pugpog Biker's Highlands has caffeinated drinks and all-day breakfast items to jumpstart your day like Hotsilog, Longsilog, Tapsilog, and Daingsilog. If you want to pair your rice meal with coffee, they have a Breakfast Combo (P200) that bundles your choice of silog and your choice of coffee: You can choose between café americano or brewed coffee.
If you're bringing a group with you, Pugpog Biker's Highlands has meal sets that are good for three to four people. The Highlands Meal A (P1,230) includes kare kare, seafood, veggies, chicken wings, a rice platter, 1.5-liter soft drinks, and bulalo soup. The Highlands Meal B (P1,310), on the other hand, includes lechon kawali, pancit canton, pork sisig, calamares, a rice platter, 1.5-liter soft drinks, and bulalo soup. They have other sets available, too, so you'll have lots of wallet-friendly dishes to choose from for the whole gang!
Ready to hit the road? Pugpog Biker's Highlands is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. The café is at Pugpog Road, Santa Cruz, Angat, Bulacan.
