Every city and municipality in Metro Manila will have a at least one hospital that will administer COVID-19 vaccines to minors, authorities said, as the immunization program enters its second phase.
As of October 19, 3,416 minors have been vaccinated against COVID-19, the Department of Health said. As with adults, those with co-morbdities will be prioritized when Phase 2 starts on October 22, Dr. Kezia Rosario told a briefing on state television, speaking for the National Vaccination Operation Center.
There are around 144,000 children with comorbidities in Metro Manila, according to the center. The government alloted about 50 million Moderna and Pfizer vaccines for the pediatric A3 priority list, vaccine czar Carlito Galvez said.
