(SPOT.ph) Raise your hands if you swapped your usual regular fries for the curly version as McDonald's brought back their seasonal Twister Fries just yesterday, September 15! Well, in a surprising *twist* (heh) of events, Potato Corner isn't letting it go without putting up a fight. The french-fry brand posted this on their Facebook page at 6 p.m. last night, and oh, the shade is real.

Check out the viral Facebook post of Potato Corner:

"Never left," the photo reads, showing a single pies of curly fries. The caption also goes, "Don’t call it a comeback. We’ve been here all along. Loopys are available all year 'round." Boy, have shots been fired! See, Potato Corner has their own version of curly fries dubbed the Loopys—basically curly fries that come coated in their signature seasonings and are available all throughout the year. Though their post of course makes no explicit mention of Ronald McD's, the similarities are definitely there—photo of fry with the spotlight on, curtain in the background, and mention of "comeback" and all. We smell a challenge.

In case you'd like to try the Loopys yourself, you can get it ready to eat (P100) and delivered to your doorstep via the Potato Corner + Nacho Mucho shop on GrabFood or Foodpanda—just note that not all branches have it in stock, so check your app. You can also order the frozen, ready-to-fry version directly from Potato Corner; a kilogram of Loopys with 110 grams of your flavor coating of choice goes for P390.
