(SPOT.ph) Nothing like a good old horror movie to help you feel alive again. If you're in need of a really good and heavy jolt, allow us to direct your attention to The Conjuring movies. Remember back in 2013 when the first The Conjuring came out and we first met Ed and Lorraine Warren? A third installment, aptly named The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, is now up for streaming on HBO Go. And better yet, The Conjuring (2013) and The Conjuring 2 (2016) are also there—which means you can marathon the three main movies of The Conjuring universe!

In the latest one, paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga respectively) have a break from haunted houses and this time deal with a legal case. The situation? A man named Arne (Ruairi O'Connor) had stabbed his landlord to death, but says that he was possessed by a demon at the time. The phrase "The The Devil Made Me Do It" is also the moniker of the real-life case this movie was based on; in 1981 a man named Arne Cheyenne Johnson claimed demonic possession as a defense, a first in a U.S. trial court.
If you want to go in chronological order, you can start with The Conjuring, in which the Warrens help a family out with the haunted farmhouse they just moved into, and then The Conjuring 2 in which they deal with another haunted house, this time controlled by that demon from The Nun movie. Yeah, we're scared enough to not say the name.
Movies like Annabelle (2014), The Nun (2018), and The Curse of La Llorona (2019) are all part of the pretty massive The Conjuring universe from Warner Bros. Pictures. The rest of the movies are unfortunately not yet on the platform as of writing, but TBH, we don't know if we'd have enough strength to go through the entire franchise if they were!
