(SPOT.ph) Folks in Pasig, we know how difficult it can be when you want your Mendokoro Ramenba fix stat as their Metro Manila branches are mostly located nearer to the South—specifically in Makati, BGC, and Alabang. But if you happen to be hankering for their take on the Japanese dish today—like, right now—you're in luck. They have an ongoing pop-up food truck that's currently parked at Capitol Commons!

The pop-up food truck serves their signature tonkotsu ramen bowls. Purists will appreciate the full-on richness of the Shio (P430), while those looking for a more umami bite can try the to the soy-sauce infused Shoyu (P460), which got second place in our 2019 Top 10 Shoyu Ramen in Manila list. The Tantanmen (P490) goes for a nutty-spicy profile with sesame paste, ground pork, and chili, while the shrimp-studded Ebi Tonkotsu (P640) will let you see seafood in a whole new, richer light. Of course, their famous, chashu-topped Super Chashu (P610)'s there too if you're really looking for a smoky, flavor-bomb pork fix! You can also get their signature Gyoza (P140/three pieces, P230/five pieces; P540/12 pieces frozen) on the side.

Mendokoro Ramenba's pop-up also has al-fresco seats so you can take in the cool breeze as you slurp away. It's open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. only until tomorrow, September 25—take this as a sign!

Mendokoro Ramenba is a ramen joint from the folks behind fellow ramen restaurant Yushoken. They opened their first branch in Makati in 2014 and have commanded long lines (pre-pandemic) ever since!

Mendokoro Ramenba's pop-up is at Capitol Commons, Ortigas Center, Pasig City. For more information, check out Mendokoro Ramenba's Facebook page.
