(SPOT.ph) When it comes to desserts that stand the test of time, caramel cake ranks high up. Its pairing of fluffy cake and toffee-like, buttery caramel (usually in the form of a frosting) is pretty hard to beat! What could possibly make this dessert even better? Ice cream. Sebastian's Ice Cream recently introduced their caramel ice-cream cake that's available this September—and oh, is it worth swooning over.

Check out this ingenious new dessert that melds caramel cake and ice-cream cake:

Sebastian's Ice Cream's Caramel Cake Ice Cream Cake pairs together a freshly baked butter cake with their own burnt-sugar caramel ice cream and a drizzle of caramel chocolate. We can't say caramel enough here, bear with us. Beyond the textural contrast between the plush cake and velvety ice cream, you'll love how the ice cream's complex, toasty notes add depth to the buttery profile of the cake. Add to that the fact that it's a frozen dessert that delivers the decadence of caramel with a cooling sensation to boot, and you've got yourself a treat! You can get a slice for P155, or a whole cake for P1,650.

Take your pick from the Ginataang Halo-Halo (P405/pint) with ubelangka, saba, bilo-bilokamote, and gabi; the Ginataang Mais (P405/pint) with naturally nutty fresh corn and malagkit rice; and the Ginataang Munggo (P405/pint) with earthy red munggo beans and malagkit rice). Plus, these flavors are all vegan and dairy-free!
