This popular adventure park is located an hour and a half from Cebu City, and has plenty of outdoor activities to keep you occupied. You can choose from riding an all-terrain vehicle or speedway, wakeboarding, ziplining, skybiking, and wall climbing. For those with a nature-centric adventure in mind, you can also go for horseback riding, kayaking, waterfalls rappelling, caving, and trekking. Once you’re done with the day’s adventures, you can cool off at the pool or have a soothing Hot Kawa Bath, a traditional Filipino bath where you dip in a cauldron-like basin with water that’s slowly being heated. 

The entrance fee for the park is only P50 and there are packages to choose from depending on which activities you’d like to try out, starting at P600 per person. If you’re looking to spend the night, Danasan has camping facilities with tent rentals starting at P350 for two persons, along with bonfire options. There are also air-conditioned rooms with a starting price of P1,200 for two people.

Lava Mountain River Farm is best for those looking to get away for some fresh air and peaceful mountain surroundings. You can trek along the farm or the Mananga River where you can see various native flora and rock formations and visit a secret waterfall, or go for a swim in the pool or river. 

Once dusk sets in, camp on the farm’s lush grounds or stay indoors in the Riverside or Mountain Hut, the property’s open-air accommodations. These huts are native-inspired and offer good cooling ventilation to really let you take advantage of the cool mountain air. For overnight stays, the rates start at P7,500 for up to eight people, perfect for a large group of friends or family.

Florentino’s Eco Park is perfect for day trips when you just want a quick escape from the busy city. Nestled in the highlands of Balamban, the place provides plenty of opportunities to interact with nature in the flower garden and fishpond. There are also scenic views of the mountains, along with the seascape of nearby Negros Island and Mount Kanlaon. 

For parents looking for a kid-friendly spot, this mountain terrace has an outdoor playground. There are board games for children and kids-at-heart. Mountain View Nature’s Park has a viewing deck where you can check out a breathtaking panorama of the city. The place has a pool where you can swim or lounge while enjoying the cool air and the view. If you’re up for a challenge, there’s the Rope Course with its many twists and turns—17 obstacles at that!—perfect for shaking away all the pent-up energy from months of sitting at home.
