(SPOT.ph) There is no way you missed the Skypod. Kryz Uy's tour of her and husband Slater Young's home was uploaded to her YouTube channel in December 2019 and has racked up more than five million views as of writing. And what's not to love? The ultra-luxurious, modern take on a cabin lodge, made under engineer Young's charge would be anybody's dream home—and it looks like you can live in your very own Skypod, too! If you've got several millions stashed away somewhere, that is.
Young, an actor and engineer, recently revealed on his YouTube channel that he had been working on what he calls Skypod 2.0, a.k.a. Monterrazas Prime, an exclusive community up in the mountains of Young's hometown, Cebu City. How exclusive are we talking here? The property will house just around 30 units of stunning homes designed by Young and his team—each with their own amazing view.
According to Young, he had been working on the Monterrazas Prime houses for around two years now. He dubbed it the Skypod 2.0 because not only do they look quite similar, he had used the same standards on them as his own home. They even partnered with the same architectural firm, LLG Architects. "We used the same architect, and all the suppliers, that we were happy with, ginamit namin with this project," he said in the vlog.
"No stone was left unturned. Lahat is luxury. Lahat is, I would say, to my standard talaga and this is Skypod 2.0." Young gave us a virtual tour—using artist perspectives, which is subject to change—of the houses and yup, it definitely has us dreaming!

"Pagpasok mo, the moment you step in the main door. This is the view that greets you. May mountain area from the side and you can see actually, the view of the city," said Slater of the house's main rooms.
The open floor plan connects to the outdoor space via sliding glass panels that you can fully open. "Ito 'yong indoor-outdoor living talaga," he said. The outdoor area includes an infinity pool and lounge area—not to mention stunning views. "You can see the ocean," said Young. "So there's mountain, city, and sea," added Uy from behind the camera.
Plus, there are three bedrooms on the second floor that each face the view as well! Yup, the master's en suite even has a bath tub where you can soak while taking in the sights.
Young added that there is a lot of space in the basement as well. The open space can be transformed however the homeowner would like. Personal gym, anyone?
The design they were aiming for the houses was one that could easily be changed. "It's open design so it can essentially be a chameleon. Pwede siyang mag-mold to whatever personality you have," Young pointed out. And as he and his wife joked, the design and the place are so nice they're even thinking about moving there! Hard same, TBH. Check out the full tour below:
