Quarantine passes are required in the following Metro Manila cities during the 15-day ECQ starting Friday, August 6. This pass is for those who need to step out for essentials but are not considered authorized persons outside of residence, better known as APOR.
The Department of the Interior and Local Government said that quarantine passes will be reimplemented by local officials. "Naabisuhan na ang DILG ng mga LGUs na ibabalik nila 'yong mga quarantine passes," said Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Undersecretary Jonathan Malaya. This means that it is up to local government units how to implement the use of quarantine passes in their areas. For some, the old ones will do, while others will issue new ones. No uniform rulings across the ECQ area have been announced so we round up the different announcements made by LGUs below.
