(SPOT.ph) In case you missed it, IKEA's first-ever store in the Philippines (as well as its local e-commerce shop) is set to open in the fourth quarter of 2021—no official opening date just yet, but there's lots to look forward to! For starters, the Swedish furniture brand is launching their official membership program known as IKEA Family on July 7!

IKEA Family has over 150 million members globally and signing up is totally free! Members get access to exclusive rewards, promos, discounts, invitations, and store updates all year round. Plus, signing up once already gives you lifetime membership. IKEA Philippines' market development manager Georg Platzer noted in a virtual press conference that joining the IKEA Family can you give a chance to score exclusive discounts up to 50% off!
IKEA Family in the Philippines will be accepting 100,000 new members within the first 24 hours of launching.
IKEA is looking to bring 100,000 Filipinos on board to IKEA Family in just its first day of launching. Platzer, who has worked with IKEA for over three decades, notes that no other IKEA store in the world has reached this goal. People who register in the first 24 hours will have a chance to win one out of three IKEA Home Makeover packages worth P50,000 with design consultations courtesy of IKEA’s interior designers.

To become a part of IKEA Family, log on to the IKEA Philippines website and sign up. Note that sign-ups will only open on July 7, so better mark your calendars and set your alarms.
