(SPOT.ph) Zambales in the western seaboard of Luzon is known for its long coasts with verdant mountains and rows of pine trees for a background. The province boasts pristine coves and island-hopping destinations, making it a crowd-favorite for weekend getaways. Its beach breaks in San Narciso and San Felipe are also top of mind for local surfers, especially with the number of hostels and laid-back resorts in the area.
After months of waiting, the popular Crystal Beach Resort is finally accepting guests from the National Capital Region, Bulacan, and areas under modified general community quarantine starting on June 17. Metro Manila and Bulacan are now under general community quarantine "with some restrictions."

Crystal Beach Resort features a wide range of accommodations for any type of traveler. They have a campsite where you can set up a tent amid rows of pine trees, a glamping site for a more luxurious adventure, and private cabins for couples, families, and big groups. It has lots of beach space for playing volleyball or frisbee or for lounging around while waiting for the golden hour before sundown. Plus, the resort is home to a surf school facilitated by instructors who are certified by the International Surfing Association and Academy of Surfing Instructors.
Travelers who are six years old and above from the mentioned regions are allowed to travel for leisure in Zambales starting on June 17. You're only required to present a negative RT-PCR test taken within 48 hours and a QR-coded travel pass that's registered through VISITA Zambales.
Prior to this announcement, Zambales opened only to travelers from low-risk modified general community quarantine areas on May 28.
