(SPOT.ph) Most pet owners shower their cats and dogs with all the love they deserve, from giving them belly rubs to buying them healthy treats. But some animals are not as lucky. There are those that are left on the streets or, worse, abused by their "hoomans." Pawpassion Project, an animal welfare organization with two shelters, is on a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats and dogs in distress. And joining them in this campaign is Happy Pets Club, Robinsons Malls’ community of pet owners and pet lovers. On June 5, Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., they're partnering up to hold an adoption drive at The Garden of Robinsons Magnolia in Quezon City and give all kinds of cats and dogs the "Gift of a Furever Home."
The on-site adoption event, Baby's Day Out: Adventure in PAWradise, is hoping to find loving families for 17 rescues (five cats and 12 puppies). A vet will also be present for free consultation while the new furparents will each receive a vaccination voucher, treats, dog food, and other gifts for their new furbabies. You can also bring your own pets for low-cost microchipping and vaccinations at the site.
This is just the first of a series of events hosted by Happy Pets Club and other partner organizations. Also in the pipeline are free spaying and neutering drives, mass anti-rabies vaccinations, free vet consultations, and pet-parenting seminars. Robinsons Magnolia’s Pet Park is also open for furry friends who want to enjoy some fun obstacles.
Baby's Day Out: Adventure in PAWradise is on June 5, 4 p.m. at The Garden, Robinsons Magnolia, Aurora Boulevard corner Doña Hemady Street, New Manila, Quezon City. If you're looking to adopt, you can register through Pawssion Project's Adoption Form.
