Based in Singapore, the food shop is the world’s first all-bacon snack line. Baken will carry Bacon Cookies, Bacon Jam, Bacon Brittle, and Bacon Crisps. The best part? The products are made out of 100% real bacon! Whether you snack on their bag of crisps while watching a movie, or you tear them open for a fuss-free breakfast—or any other dish you’ve got in mind—you can be sure to taste nothing but the real deal.
Baken was established by Rachel Carrasco and Kelly Parreño, two Filipina entrepreneurs. Parreño is behind the sushi stand Ta Ke Ho Me while Carrasco is the founder of Rache, a company that manages and crafts experiences “around the worlds of fine food and luxury wines and spirits."
Their brainchild, Baken, will be available in the Philippines in August. You can soon order their products online at shopbaken.com. Once it's safe to do so, the brand also plans on launching pop-up stores across the country so no bacon enthusiast gets left behind.
