(SPOT.ph) The quote "life is better at the beach" is a cliché for a reason. It has become overused, but that's just because it's true. Numerous scientific studies have shown that going to the beach, listening to the crashing of the waves, and even just looking at the blue ocean alleviate stress. You can just imagine how living by the shore can impact your mental health positively. With this in mind, real estate company Landco is introducing their newest beachtowns: the 24-hectare Club Laiya in Barangay Laiya Aplaya, San Juan; and the 15-hectare CaSoBe (short for Calatagan South Beach), both in Batangas.

Landco President and CEO Erickson Y. Manzano explained in a media launch on June 17 that property buyers in both leisure tourism estates have the liberty to put up their dream beach house, an accommodation business like a small resort or a hostel, or a cafe or restaurant in the thriving destination. "Through these projects, Landco helps promote Philippine tourism and jumpstart local businesses," he added.

Also found within both beachside properties are Instagram-worthy accommodations developed by Landco's sister company Millennial Resorts. There's Crusoe Cabins lined along the white-sand beaches and the capsule-like rooms of Cocoons, both in Calatagan. They also have other long-existing amenities, such as a water park with a three-storey slide, beach clubs, and a foodie hub called Captain Barbozza.

When asked if you need to own a property at either CaSoBe or Club Laiya to enjoy their resort amenities, Manzano clarified that you can come in as guests to their hotels. But of course, having your own vacation house doesn't hurt, especially if you have extra money to invest.

Beachside properties at Club Laiya range from 300 square meters to 3,150 square meters, which as mentioned, can be converted into a residential area or a commercial property. They're being sold from P15 million to P184.2 million. The resort community features a promenade, a clubhouse, a central park, an events venue, a hotel, rows of restaurants and bars, and its own jetty drop-off.

CaSoBe, on the other hand, has lot sizes that range from 356 square meters to 890 square meters, which are being sold from P16,000,000 to P44,000,000. Like Club Laiya, it has its own jetty drop-off, a boardwalk, and a beach club. It's also where you can find the Aquaria Waterpark.

“With a legacy of premium and exclusive property development for more than 30 years, Landco revolutionizes the concept of property ownership for Filipinos with its newest beach side projects. These leisure tourism estates serve as tourism and lifestyle destinations in a community setting. Its diverse resort amenities make it an attractive weekend getaway, work from a resort option and a venue for events and conferences,” stated Manzano in a statement. Landco is also behind Peninsula de Punta Fuego, Playa Calatagan, and Playa Azalea.

Club Laiya and CaSoBe, as explained by Manzano, also promote the three main principles of sustainable tourism, namely: environment, economic, and socio-cultural sustainability. Both properties, like other Landco estates, are aiming to be both EDGE (a green building certification system) and LEED (framefor work healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings) certified.
