(SPOT.ph) You may have heard that Japan's Omotesando Koffee is opening their first Manila branch in Power Plant Mall this year. We jumped out of our seats upon hearing the news in 2020, and we couldn't be more excited to have them on our shores!
The Curator's David Ong—who is "helping out" with the coffee shop, as it is being brought in by his uncle's company, H&F Retail Concepts—confirmed to SPOT.ph that the original plan for March has been moved and they're looking to open in August. Ong also published a hiring post for Omotesando Koffee on his own Instagram account on June 1. Aside from the first branch in Power Plant Mall, Omotesando Koffee will also be opening branches in Greenbelt and Ayala Triangle soon, says Ong.
Omotesando Koffee hails from Japan, and is known for serving specialty brews in spaces with minimalist interiors that embody Japanese Zen. Today, they've got branches all over the world: in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, and London—we can't wait for the Philippines to join the list!
