(SPOT.ph) Remember during the pre-pandemic times when people would actually gather indoors to watch a movie? Yup, we're talking going to the cinemas—specifically that extra-cozy, extra-personal experience of going to one of Metro Manila's most popular micro-cinemas, Cinema '76. Well, it looks like they're missing us just as much as we miss them. The micro-cinema has announced the launch of their coffee shop, Cinema '76 Café, on June 11. And yes, the outdoor shop's interiors are making us feel pure nostalgia for our cinema-going days.

Take a look at the Cinema '76 Café in Quezon City:

Patrons of the micro-cinema will remember that outdoor area you have to pass through before reaching the theater itself. That al-fresco spot overlooking the busy Aurora Boulevard has been transformed into a haven for coffee and movie lovers. The folks behind the project hope this place will serve as a new safe space—literally and figuratively—for like-minded folks they said in a statement. Peep the movie-themed decor and we're sure you'll agree.

It wouldn't be a coffee shop without some of your staple brews and yup, delectable pastries alongside them! You can get cool frappes to beat Manila's outdoor heat in classic Chocolate (P150/16 oz, P160/22 oz), Hazelnut (P170/16 oz, P185/22 oz), and even a Popcorn flavor (P200/16 oz, P215/22 oz). You can also get a taste of the shop's offerings via their bottled brews. We're definitely intrigued by the caffeine punch of the Coffee Matcha.

As for grub to go with your coffee, you can choose from their mango cake (P195)—which may or may not remind you of that scene from Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral (2018), and the Chocolate Chip Banana Loaf (P155).

To ensure safety, tables and chairs are disinfected after every use, and air sterilizing and disinfecting machines operatie round-the-clock, among the usual safety precautions. And if going out is a definite no, then you can also have their items delivered.

For delivery orders, find Cinema '76 Café on GrabFood or Foodpanda.
