(SPOT.ph) Trese is making practically everyone extra-creative lately. The Netflix adaptation has inspired all sorts of content online: fan art, video edits, lots and lots of memes, and, of course, some truly unique dubbing. Undeniably, one of the most talked about factors of the animated adaptation was Liza Soberano's first voice-actor stint as the lead character, the mysterious Alexandra Trese.
All the hot takes were thrown around online that even Jay Oliva, executive producer, spoke up to say that both Soberano and Fil-Canadian Shay Mitchell did great jobs. Soberano voiced the Tagalog version while Shay Mitchell did the English one. With the many opinions online, folks even started acting on the possibilities—by making their own versions.
There were epic fan edits with the voices of big stars on social media, while others decided to give Trese their own unique touch. Cue TikTokers circulating a short clip from the first episode where they dubbed Alexandra with their own voices.
