(SPOT.ph) Siargao Island in Surigao del Norte is probably one of the best places to stay if you want to escape the Metro. It is home to some of the most amazing waves and white-sand beaches, lagoons and coves, rows of restaurants and bars, and a laid-back vibe in general. Once you’re there, you wouldn’t want to come back and we completely understand. So if you’re one of the lucky ones who can work remotely (a.k.a. the digital nomads), there are a number of resorts in Siargao that offer long-term stays. They’re perfect if you don’t want to commit to migrating there permanently just yet (although, again, completely get it you if you want to).
