Over the years, Tomato Kick has been a frequent tambayan for college students who want to catch the gigs of their favorite local musicians, or just chill with good food and good company. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, the place had to close off its restaurant and has been relying on delivery and take-out orders ever since quarantine started last year.

This year, for the last time, the people over at Tomato Kick are holding TK: LAST ORDER, an online benefit concert and fundraising initiative for its employees. They hope to reach P200,000 to help their employees with expenses while they look for a new job. The online concert is happening on May 21 at 8 p.m., and it features an impressive lineup, including Urbandub, Ang Bandang Shirley, Shirebound & Busking, Moonstar88, The Borrachos, and The Ridleys, to name a few.

As per the GCQ guidelines, they will be operating on 20 percent indoor capacity and 50 percent al fresco capacity. They will be accommodating only 40 customers for a maximum of three hours.

Take note, though, that walk-ins are not allowed. Customers who are interested in dining in will have to fill out their RSVP form to choose their time slots. Only those that filled out the form will be accommodated. As of writing, the 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. slots of May 21 and 22 have been filled, but not all hope is lost. "Please wait for the announcement for when this link will be available again," they write on the said form—we say keep it bookmarked and follow their Facebook page for updates!

If you didn't make the cut, you can always order for delivery until May 22, between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. Get a taste of their Crispy Bacon Liempo (P220), Chicken Alfredo (P245), Nachos Supreme (P230), and Sisig Pasta (P220), among other options.
