(SPOT.ph) You might be lactose-intolerant, vegan, or just looking to change it up from animal milk. Either way, that doesn’t mean you can’t get your milk fix, thanks to the numerous dairy-free milk alternatives available on the market today! Made with various nuts, seeds, beans, grains, and more, these milks give you a different kind of creaminess and can generally be used as you would cow’s milk: pour them over your cereal, stir them into coffee, or just drink them straight up. While you could shop the imported stuff, it’s also worth supporting local ventures that sell their own freshly made versions—and we’ve rounded up a few brands to check out on this list. (Note: If you're vegan or on a plant-based diet, be sure to double-check with the shops whether their products are vegan or plant-based, too.)
