(SPOT.ph) With going contactless as a rule of thumb during the ongoing pandemic, cashless payment has become a better option for most Filipinos. Banks have amped up their mobile banking services and virtual wallets have become essential. With this in mind, PayMaya is expanding their "Add Money" partnership with The SM Store so customers nationwide can easily funds to their apps.
Almost 600 locations all over the country have been added to the already existing partner branches nationwide. PayMaya users can now top up at the Mall Information Booth, Servicio, and bills payment counters at any SM Supermarket, SM Savemore, SM Hypermarket, and Waltermart. This totals to over 200,000 touchpoints nationwide in the platform's network.
“With cashless now being the default and preferred mode of payment for many Filipinos, giving them access to safe and accessible ways to add money to their accounts is very important. We are glad to expand on our partnership with SM Supermalls so that our customers can enjoy the cashless convenience," said Shailesh Baidwan, PayMaya president, in a statement.
