These Pepero Ice-Cream Bars Might Just Be Your New Summer Favorite

Lotte's Pepero comes in different flavors like Chocolate, Strawberry, White Cookie, Cream Cheese, Double Dip Yogurt, and Sweet Potato—but if you have a sweet spot for Almond-flavored variant, which has biscuit sticks coated with chocolate and crushed almonds, we've got good news for you. This summer, there's another way of enjoying this snack: Check out the Pepero Ice Bar.

Here's a new ice-cream bar to try!

This ice-cream bar version of the popular snack is made with a cylinder-shaped vanilla ice cream coated in a hard chocolate shell and crushed almonds. The chocolate used for the shell tastes exactly like the chocolate used in Pepero Almond. The crushed almonds are just as crunchy, too.

According to Middle Class Singapore, Lotte launched the Pepero Bar just in time for Pepero Day in 2020, which happens annually on the 11th of November. Pepero Day is South Korea's version of Valentine's Day in which people give Pepero to the person they admire.

The Pepero Ice Bar goes for P39 via Haru Haru Asian Grocery on GrabFood. You can also find it in other Korean or Asian mini groceries, like Jjang Korean Mart in San Juan, where it goes for P40.
