(SPOT.ph) Today in online kakulitan, Parokya ni Edgar delivered a classic and unbeatable move: a throwback picture—with a twist! The pambansang banda posted a picture from way back in the '80s when they were just kids. As in, Grade 2 levels. Yup, they've known each other that long. Check it out below:
Absent si Dindin nung kinunan kami ng class picture nung grade 2 kami. Naki-usap si Din sa kaibigan namin na i-photoshop nalang sya sa pic para kasama naman sya. Eto...nagawan naman ng paraan.????????????

Did you see it? "Wait, see what?" you ask. Go on and take another long hard look? Which band members you can spot?
"Absent si Dindin [no'ng] kinunan kami ng class picture [noong] Grade 2 kami," said the post's caption, talking about drummer Dindin Moreno. "Naki-usap si Din sa kaibigan namin na i-Photoshop nalang siya sa pic para kasama naman siya."
"Eto...nagawan naman ng paraan," concluded the post. Who knew he looked so much like an adult when he was in Grade 2?
Yup, Parokya Ni Edgar Goes Way Back
So in case you didn't know, Parokya Ni Edgar started when a bunch of high schoolers from the Ateneo De Manila in the '90s—vocalists Chito Miranda, Jeric Estaco, and Vinci Montaner, along with guitarists Mikko Yap and Gab Chee Kee—started jamming out together. Their jam sessions led to bigger and bigger events, with Moreno, an Ateneo schoolmate, and Buwi Meneses, Miranda's childhood friend, joining as drummer and bassist, respectively.
This Grade 2 class pic proves that they had ties way before their highschool days—hilarious Photoshop aside. More than just proving how deep their ties are, the picture has snowballed into folks adding to the fun. As of writing, it has around 48 thousand reactions, 3.5 thousand shares, and more than a thousand comments—with some just as hilarious as the OG pic.
