(SPOT.ph) We hardly need to tell you that the summer months in the Philippines can get seriously hot. But what's great about the season is that you've got an excuse to gorge on all sorts of ice-cold treats—and no Filipino dessert better exemplifies this better than halo-halo! Know what it's (surprisingly) got a lot in common with, though? Milk tea—they both have a creamy base and pair well with different sinkers. Guess what: Macao Imperial Tea's gone and merged the two (and thrown in their signature cheesecake cream to boot) in their newest limited-edition drink, the Cheesecake Halo Halo.
The Cheesecake Halo Halo is a taste-and-texture wonderland with its combo of Macao Imperial Tea's signature milk tea, their tangy-creamy cheesecake cream, soft red beans, colored jellies (in white, green, green jelly, blue, red, and yellow), earthy-tasting grass jelly, rich pudding, nutty-tasting taro bits, small white pearls, and chewy black pearls! It's the kind of beverage that'll keep you going back for more as you get a different experience in every sip. This is available starting today, April 6, going for P175 for a Maior (23-ounce) cup. You can get it at your nearest Macao Imperial Tea store, have it delivered through their mother company Fredley Group's website, or order through GrabFood or Foodpanda.
