Your Guide to Essential Services Operating in Malls for ECQ "Season 2"

Malls in the greater Manila area will adjust their operating hours starting today, March 29, in adherence to the implementation of the week-long enhanced community quarantine a.k.a. ECQ "season 2." The fresh enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) restrictions, which will last until Easter Sunday, April 4, cover Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, Cavite, and Rizal.

Here's your guide to mall operating hours, essential services, and safety protocols during the ECQ "season 2" period:

SM Supermalls

SM Supermalls announced that only essential stores inside SM malls in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal will remain open daily from March 29 to April 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This includes supermarkets, banks, pharmacies, hardware stores, and restaurants that offer takeout and delivery. They are also offering free parking during the ECQ period.

Robinsons Malls

Robinsons Malls in the National Capital Region, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, and Laguna will implement a 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. operating schedule from March 29 to April 4. Only essential stores will be open during the ECQ period. These are banks, hardware stores, convenience stores, and selected restaurants with takeout and delivery services.  Supermarkets will also be open, but with longer operating hours (from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.). They offer free parking during the ECQ period.

Ayala Malls

From March 29 to April 4, only supermarkets, drug stores, banks, and restaurants with takeout and delivery services will be allowed to operate in Ayala Malls in Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, and Bulacan areas. Operating hours may vary per mall. Parking will be free in their malls during the ECQ period.

Megaworld Malls
