These Gorgeous Sakura-Inspired Drinks Are Coming Soon to Starbucks

(SPOT.ph) It's mid-March, and in Japan, that means it's almost the season of cherry blossoms! There's nothing quite like seeing rows of these sakura trees with their flowers in bloom, their pale-pink petals gleaming against the sun. Here's the closest we could get to cherry blossoms, for now: Starbucks is coming out with Sakura Blossom Strawberry drinks that will be available for a limited time, starting March 23!

They look so dreamy!

If the strawberries-and-cream combination makes your heart beat, you'll want to go for the Sakura Blossom Strawberry Frapuccino (P185/Tall, P200/Grande, P215/Venti)—a blended beverage of strawberry chunks in whole milk and ice given extra fruitiness with a strawberry sauce, and topped with chocolate petal sprinkles and whipped cream for good measure. Prefer to get your berry fix on a more fruit-forward note? Try the Iced Sakura Blossom Strawberry Tea (P180/Tall, P195/Grande, P210/Venti), which is perfect for a hot day with its combo of Teavana Hibiscus tea and strawberry sauce, topped with a creamy cold foam and chocolate petal sprinkles. These drinks will be available via GrabFood as well, so you can try them right from home.

Starbucks is an American coffee chain established in the '70s. They came to the Philippines in 1997, bringing with them their signature coffee drinks and pastries, and have been a favorite among Filipinos ever since.  bestsellers at Starbucks are the Caramel Macchiato and Mocha Frappuccino.
