Langka + Yogurt Are Amazing Together; Here's Where to Try It

(SPOT.ph) Yogurt drinks are great in that they satisfy the the Filipino love for sweet and creamy beverages, but also fall on the healthier side of the drink spectrum. One of the best-known spots for the drink in Manila is Koomi; this Australian brand whips up yogurt beverages that have the perfect balance of sweet and tangy, whether you go for their famous Purple Rice or Mango Moo flavors. But if you're looking to change it up, you'd be happy to know that they've got new flavors—one of which especially caught our eye (er, tongue) for how it highlights an underutilized local fruit. We're talking about their new Langkashewlad yogurt drink!

Sweet, fragrant jackfruit is the star of the show here.

The Langkashewlad features the the tropical flavor of ripe jackfruit, which adds a sweet and fragrant character that's wonderful with the tangy yogurt. It's also got bits of cashews that add a subtle crisp bite in between sips, and cream cheese for extra richness. Perfect for the summer months to come! This drink goes for P180.

Don't miss Koomi's other new flavors, either. The Banana Dance with Some Berries (P175) melds blueberries, strawberries, and bananas, while the Grape Minds Think a Lychee (P150) goes for the unexpected (but delish) duo of grapes and lychee. If you like your yogurt drinks on the even tangier side, try the K-Popping Passion (P170), which is flavored with passionfruit and has juicy popping boba that burst as you sip. If you're open to the pairing of tangy and bittersweet—it surprisingly works—go for the It Matcha Been Love (P165), which has matcha and dark chocolate in the mix.

There's a Koomi flavor for everyone.
