(SPOT.ph) It's around this time of the year—we're talking about Lent, of course—that Catholics abstain from consuming meat. If you find yourself hankering for good ol' siopao, there's a seafood variant lets you can have your steamed bun and eat it, too. Yup, 7-Eleven and Vikings have joined forces with the Tuna Cheese Melt Siopao, which you can conveniently get at 7-Eleven!

The Tuna Cheese Melt Siopao is a creamy, chunky treat that combines umami-rich tuna and cheese. In case the combo sounds familiar, tuna plus cheese are often combined in what are called tuna melt sandwiches—but this time, you get it as a filling inside slightly sweet, pillowy steamed buns! Each piece goes for P35.

7-Eleven is a convenience store chain that’s said to be the largest chain store in any category, opening around six stores somewhere in the world every day. Vikings, on the other hand, is a buffet known for its large size and vast selection of food choices, at affordable rates. They opened their first branch at the Mall of Asia Complex in 2011.

7-Eleven has branches at 465 Quezon Boulevard, Quiapo, Manila City and BSA Tower, Legazpi Street, Legazpi Village, Makati City. See a list of 7-Eleven branches.
