From February 3 to March 3, 1945, American forces and Filipino guerilla soldiers fought for sovereignty against Japanese colonizers. Manila was officially liberated after a month-long battle, but the aftermath was devastating: tens of thousands of lives were lost, the whole city was almost razed to the ground, and countless buildings (most of which are cultural and historical treasures) were left in ruins. The Online Livestream Tour is set to narrate these stories from the war that "wiped out in a hail of fire and blood" up to "400 years of history, culture, and art," according to Wander Manila.
Wander Manila in October 2020 hosted the One Night In Intramuros virtual tour, which gave us a glimpse of the most haunted places in Metro Manila.
