(SPOT.ph) With limitations on public transportation especially at the start of the community quarantine, more and more people have started to get into biking. The two-wheeler is a dependable mode of transportation, a great workout, and lets you keep your distance on our virus-stricken streets. If you're still trying to catch up on the trend but never really learned how to ride a bike, you can take one or two biking lessons with the National Bicycle Organization at the open parking space of Robinsons Place Manila every Saturday and Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Adults are allowed, we won't judge.
National Bicycle Organization (NBO) advocates for a "bicycle-friendly Philippines" by promoting bikes as "alternative mode of transportation and lifestyle." Using the two-wheeler for short trips and errands would minimize your carbon footprint, help clean the air, and decongest the roads.

The group also holds bike lessons at 31st Street beside Track 30th Park, Bonifacio Global City, every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and along Maginhawa Street in Quezon City daily, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. To register for the NBO Bike Lessons, you just need to fill out the online form on their website. A two-hour session is only at P300, and you don't have to bring your own bicycle. According to NBO, it only takes about 30 minutes to learn how to ride a bike.
NBO Bike Lessons is at 6/F Robinsons Place Manila, Pedro Gil Street, Manila City. For more information, visit NBO Bike Lessons' website.
