Dancer and celebrity AC Bonifacio dropped huge news on her Instagram via a clip of her dancing with Riverdale's Madelaine Petsch—and nope, it's not just any fun collab because Bonifacio is joining the Netflix show for season five! Check out the awesome clip of Cheryl Blossom (Petsch) and Bonifacio's still unnamed character having an epic dance-off in the school gym below. Who knew cheerdance battles could get this sassy?

"[S]tartin['] off the year right with a lil' sneak peek to #Riverdale Season 5!" wrote Bonifacio. She just celebrated her 18th birthday in December 2019 and we can't imagine a better birthday blessing. The video was originally uploaded by series creator Robert Aguirre-Sacasa to his own Instagram account as a teaser for the upcoming season. BTW, season five premieres on January 20, said the series creator, so best mark your calendars if you want to see what character Bonifacio will play.
The Filipino-Canadian dancer has been making waves this past year for her K-Pop dance covers; she was even featured by Selena Gomez for her take on the "Ice Cream" banger with BLACKPINK in October. Bonifacio is currently based in Vancouver, where shooting for the series also takes place. The drama is a remake of the popular Archie comics of our childhoods and follows in the same vein as Netflix's darker takes (READ: Sabrina and the upcoming Winx Saga), so we can't wait to see how this turns out!
