(SPOT.ph) In August, the Philippine Health Insurance Corp., better known as Philhealth, was put under investigation for alleged "widespread corruption." The government-run corporation facilitates the health care coverage of Filipinos. Former anti-fraud legal officer Thorsson Montes Keith claimed that Philhealth officials made off with P15 billion worth of funds. Since then, the Internet has been persistent in pointing out that the "missing funds" still haven't been accounted for—though in a press briefing on January 26, PhilHealth Chief Dante Gierran says that 92% of the "missing funds" have been liquidated. According to Gierran, "That amount is not lost; it is just there." Well, for one thing, they're certainly not inside local brand Tinda Tinda Shop's cool tote bags and coin purses.
Tinda Tinda notes that their statement-making tote bag can hold just about anything including your cellphone, wallet, laptop, umbrella, power bank, face mask, and more. However, that infamous P15 billion isn't inside—and probably wouldn't fit inside, either. Remember that’s billion with a "B," no small change. As one Facebook user pointed out, if you earned P10,000 every day from the time Ferdinand Magellan first landed on Philippine shores until today, you still wouldn't have that kind of money—and that was half a millennium ago!
For smaller essentials, Tinda Tinda's coin purse is your best bet. It can hold face masks, loose change, small rubbing alcohol bottles, and more.
You can shop Tinda Tinda online.
