(SPOT.ph) The online run of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2020 on Upstream ended yesterday—and if you somehow missed out on watching the runaway winner, Fan Girl, well, worry not! You can still stream the genre-bending film on three different platforms even after the festival's run. Fan Girl starts streaming on ABS-CBN platforms iWant TFC, KTX.ph, and TFC IPTV today, January 8, for P250.
The announcement was made today, January 8, on the movie's official Facebook page. Best part? While the festival gave you access to the movie for 24 hours, the three platforms all allow for 48-hour viewing! If you want to check out how to access the movie, take a look at the guides below:
Plus, Fan Girl will be joined by two more Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) entries in all three platforms: The Boy Foretold by the Stars, the first ever BL flick in the festival's 46-year-history, and Mang Kepweng: Ang Lihim ng Bandanang Itim, a fantasy adventure starring Vhong Navarro.

In case you've been living under a rock, Fan Girl follows the story of Jane (newcomer Charlie Dizon), a young student obsessed with her idol, heartthrob Paulo Avelino (Paulo Avelino, no, seriously). When she climbs into his pickup truck after a mall show and finally gets sometime alone with the star, things take a turn for the—well, we'll just let the movie's tagline "Never meet your idols" fill in the blanks.
The movie made an almost clean sweep at the MMFF 2020 Gabi ng Parangal, running off with eight out of nine nominations. That includes Best Director for Antoinette Jadaone, Best Actor and Actress awards for both leads, and, of course, Best Picture.
